^ Victoria: Eligibility for discounts under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program requires that the property be located in Victoria and be at least two years old. The upgrade must replace an existing electric or gas storage hot water system, or another inefficient hot water system, with a VEU-approved energy-efficient hot water system such as a heat pump water heater or an electric-boosted solar hot water system. A minimum co-payment of $200 including GST is required, which means that after all government incentives are applied, customers must still make at least this contribution. All products installed must be listed on the official VEU product register and must comply with program requirements, including a minimum five-year warranty for heat pump water heaters.
